Auto-Lock Workstation
The new auto-lock feature in Security Center prevents unauthorized use by others during the operator’s absence. Once the auto-lock feature is activated after a specified period of time, the operator will need to go through the login process again to access the system.
Video Management Enhancements
The new video features offer enhanced investigation and video export workflows while optimizing the use of existing hardware resources.
GPU-Accelerated Video Decoding
GPU-accelerated decoding using video graphics cards allows a single workstation to display more high-resolution videos and provides greater playback fluidity when playing multiple videos simultaneously.
Incident Recording
The Incident Recording feature allows you to compile footage from multiple cameras into a single video clip, capturing the entire event. This organizes the incident like a storyboard, making investigation and evidence collection more efficient.
Archive Transfer
The Archiver Transfer feature provides a backup function that allows you to copy one video archive to another, enabling dynamic management of where video records are stored.
Video Export & Player Enhancements
Incident export and video export enable easy collaboration on investigative tasks through an enhanced export workflow. Exported incident videos and video exports can be quickly played back using the Genetec Video Player, which also supports de-warping for 360-degree cameras.
Cloud Archivers
Using hybrid cloud services allows you to transfer in-house recorded footage to the cloud without investing in additional servers. You can easily increase available storage capacity as needed, avoid server failures, and eliminate separate server maintenance costs.
Access Control Enhancements
The newly added Synergis access control module simplifies daily repetitive access control operations and maintenance, enhancing the efficiency of your security operations.

Activating the visitor escort feature ensures that visitors can only enter after receiving authorization from an escorting staff member. This enhances security for visitors by adding an extra layer of protection.
Two-Person Rule
You can configure access to high-security rooms or areas so that it requires authorization from two cardholders with the appropriate permissions to unlock the door.
Furst-Person-In Rule (With unlock schedules)
For doors that are closed due to situations where no one can access (e.g., heavy snowfall, storms) or based on a schedule, normal door access is only possible after a specific authorized cardholder has unlocked the door.
Furst-Person-In Rule (With Controlled access)
In special supervisory environments, you can restrict access for general cardholders to specific areas, allowing only authorized users and supervisors to enter.
Extended Custom Card Formats (256 bits)
It supports not only 26-bit and 64-bit card formats but also an extended 256-bit custom card format.
Automatic License Plate Recognition Enhancements
